Oil on canvas,30ins x 25ins, 56cms x 107cms Closterman attempted several paintings of Pepys. From his diaries Pepys was never very happy with any portraits of himself. This could be Pepys at a younger age. In its original carved gilded frame . A relative of Pepy's , strongly believes this is the diarist. ON VIEW AT J.BEAZORS ANTIQUES , 20 REGENT ST.  CAMBRIDGE
