Description

Oil on Canvas, signed , 13ins x 18ins French landscape painter who worked in oils. Exhibited at the Paris Salon . Rigolot's landscapes are traditional, with golden colours, glistening rivers and trees. Rigolot exhibited at the Paris Salon and also showed his work in London . He received several mentions and medals at the Salon and was made a Chevalier de Legion D'honneur. Lived all his life in Paris.
